The Pubs Independent Conciliation and Arbitration Service (PICA-Service) offers an accessible, independent, low cost dispute resolution service, to the licensed industry which allows tenants/lessees and Pub Companies/Breweries with 1-499 pubs to resolve disputes in a fair and timely manner.
The PICA-Service is overseen by the Pub Governing Body (PGB) which is responsible for establishing the rules of governance and case protocols for both the PICA-Service and the Pubs Independent Rent Review Scheme (PIRRS). The PGB is provided by six of the industry’s leading associations representing both tenants and landlords: UK Hospitality (UKH), The Licensees Association(LA), the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA), the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII), the Federation of Licensed Victuallers Associations (FLVA), and the Guild of Master Victuallers (GMV).
